Alexandra Dumitrasc – Secretary General

Born and raised in the capital of Romania, Bucharest, Alexandra is a 18-year old student at the Lauder-Reut Educational Complex, in 11th grade keen on diplomacy and business. 

She discovered her passion for MUNs and diplomacy in 9th grade and since then she has attended more than 9 conferences here and abroad, as well joined the MUN Club teaching team. Besides diplomacy, Alexandra enjoys various sports, music and travelling around the world with her family or friends.

As the Secretary General of LauderMUN 2017, Alexandra is looking forward to welcoming and meeting you all, as well as hoping for a great time.

 

Andrei Niculae – President of the General Assembly

Andrei Niculae is a 17 year old student at the Lauder Reuters high school. Since he can recall he has been extremely fond of diplomacy, politics and international relations. Therefore, MUN is the perfect way for him to combine three things he is passionate about in one truly yielding activity.

After taking part in 9 MUN conferences already and after being an MUN teacher at his school, Andrei is sure that his contribution to the level of quality of the conference will be on par with the expectations of the participants of this years edition of Lauder MUN.

He is looking forward to meeting you all, as he hopes this year’s edition is going to be better than ever!

 

Robert Stefan – Deputy SG

Born and raised in Romania, Robert is a 16-year old student at the Lauder-Reut Educational Complex, in 10th grade having developed a passion for diplomacy.

He started learning about MUNs in the 9th grade and since then he has attended a handful of conferences both national and international. Besides diplomacy, Robert is keen on debating and has incredible public speaking skills which will help him become an outstanding law student.

As the Deputy Secretary General of LauderMUN 2017, Robert is looking forward to knowing and seeing you at our MUN conference.

 

Mihnea Macovei – Deputy PGA

Being 100% Romanian, Mihnea is a 17-year old student at the Lauder-Reut Educational Complex, in 10th grade with a fondness for diplomacy.

He started learning about MUNs in the 9th grade and since then he has attended several conferences here and abroad. Besides diplomacy, Mihnea has a passion for business, being the path he wants to follow.

As the Deputy President of the General Assembly of LauderMUN 2017, Mihnea is looking forward to welcoming and meeting you all and wishes you „fruitful” debates.

 

Sara Craciun – Chief of Finance

She is a 17 years old Lauder-Reut student, who is passionate about MUN’s and also economics. Having attended 4 conferences as a delegate so far, she would love to see how an MUN works from the backstage and how much work is invested.

She is thrilled by the opportunity of being the chief of finance and promises to make everyone’s experience worth their time and, of course, their money. She is a free spirit who loves traveling, foreign languages and old movies.

 

Alexandra Paul-Szel – Chief of Staff

Born in the capital of Romania, Bucharest, Alexandra is a 17-year old student in the 11th grade at the Lauder-Reut Educational Complex.

She discovered her passion for diplomacy and international relations at her first MUN experience. Besides these two, she is also very keen on Psichology, History, Art, Business and Public relations.

As one of this year’s Chiefs of Staff, Alexandra is looking forward to welcoming you and making your Lauder MUN experience as pleasant as possible and she hopes that you will enjoy it as much as she will.

 

Dan Arbanasu – Chief of Housing

Being intrested in diplomacy and international affairs, Dan Arbanasu is a student in the 10th grade of the Lauder-Reut School. 

Apart from his affinity for MUN’s which he discovered in the 9th grade, Dan has several other hobbies such as playing basketball and travelling.

As this year’s Chiefs of Housing, Dan will do his best in accommodating and helping the delegates and is looking forward to making their Lauder MUN the best experience so far and hopes that they will be as thrilled as he is.

Alexa Dobrin – Chief of Entertainment

Hello! My name is Alexa Dobrin, I am 16 years old and I am currently studying at Lauder Reut. This year i have the honor to be the Chief of Entertainment.

Apart from MUN, I love dancing, reading and traveling, because they give me a feeling of escaping the „ordinary”. Another thing which i really enjoy is meeting new people, especially for their ideas, personalities , visions and of course…stories.

For this conference, i will try to find exciting and fun activities that will keep you active and prepare parties that you will hardly forget.

 

Nicoleta Trandas – Chief of Press

She’s a student at The Lauder-Reut Educational Complex in the 11th grade with an experience of 4 MUNs as delegate and 1 as chair. 

Her decision of joining the organizing team as Chief of Press came not only from the wish to contribute to this conference and to do her best, but also from her passion for Visual Arts and Design. 

She’s excited to see how this year’s edition of LauderMUN will unfold and hopes all delegates will thoroughly enjoy the hard work and effort of the organizing team.

 

Bianca Gheorghiu – Deputy Chief of Press

She is a 16 years old Lauder student which took part in 3 other MUNs before, amongst them the last LauderMUN edition and is fascinated about diplomacy, human rights and foreign languages. Her affinty for this disciplines developed gradually and she wishes to combine all of them in her future career. Bianca also enjoys traveling, theatre and arts and hopes LauderMUN will be an amazing experience for all of its participants. She can’t wait to meet all of you and wishes you a wonderful conference!

 

Ruxandra Pelin – Deputy Chief of Staff

She is a 16 years old student at the Lauder Reut Educational Complex who is passionate about foreign languages, reading and loves spending time with her friends. She has attended the LauderMUN conference 2016 as a staff member. She is glad to be part of it, this year, as well, and to help the delegates enjoy this conference and make a memorable experience out of it.
